Mt. Ogusu is the highest peak in Yokosuka City, and the summit offers a spectacular view of Sagami Bay and Tokyo Bay. The Abekura Onsen-guchi trail is one of the most popular hiking routes to Mt. Ogusu, with seasonal flowers and grasses blooming along the way, fresh green in the spring, and autumn leaves in the fall, delighting visitors.
The trailhead is only a 10-minute walk from Abeokura Onsen, so it is recommended as a one-day activity as well as an overnight stay at a hot spring. After climbing the mountain, relax in the hot spring and enjoy a moment to recover from the fatigue of the trip.
